MDUC #194 Button It Up ♥

Hi! It is time for a new challenge at MDUC. And this time we want to see BUTTONS on your project.
I have decorated a paperbag this time. And tried to make it a bit masculine.
The image is Lucky Edwin, masked together with the Golden Creek Background
Both from Magnolia's latest collection "Once Upon a Time 2013".
I have coloured the scene with Distress Ink re-inkers and Distress Markers.
Here are the buttons:) I am not sure where they come from, I have had them in my room for a long time. I hardly use buttons on my cards, so I had to do some digging amongst my older embelisshments.
To give them a bit more shabby look, I have painted them with some spots from Crackle Paint-Picket Fence. Behind the image I have put cheese cloth, and a paper from an old book. The cheese cloth is coloured with a homemade mist (vintage photo, opalite pigment inker+water).
In the right corner I have put a Mini Bag, perfect to storrage some tags. The tags I have used are made with a DooHickey called Scalloped Tag. I have decorated them with a lace
The stamp on the mini bag "Tøff & Kul" is from Stempelglede.
I find Tim Holtz products as his dies perfect for masculine cards. And have added some here, like the Hardware Findings, Mini Gears Set and the Distressed Doily.
Here is also a ticket hidden on the "card" inside (to write the greeting on).
As you can see here, I have put a card inside the paper bag to write on. And fastened the gears on, so it is easier to pull out.
Here is the inside of the card, with a money pocket. It is made naturally of the bottom of the paper bag.
The back. And you can better see the beautiful paper I have used, it is from Maja Design and the Vintage Spring Basics Collection- 6th of March. My favourite paper among the blue ones:)
Are you still here?:) I am soon finished with my post, and thank you for still being here.
I want to thank everyone for their concern about my pregnancy. I am doing fine. Not been feeling sick at all. I am just getting bigger and bigger! I have been told it is a boy. And I can feel him kicking inside me, especially in the evenings. I can't wait to meet him! But still there are some months left waiting.
Hope you liked my "Cowboy-card"!
You can also see this card in my Magnolia blog
So now it is just to head over to MDUC to have a look at all the beautiful creations made by my wonderful teammates!!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog,
and for the lovely comments you take the time to write me:)

DT Maja Design ~ Sweetness ♥

Hi there! I am back with another card this Sunday. Also this time with the gorgeous papers from the latest Maja Design Collection, Vintage Spring Basics.
The papers I have used are: 2nd of May, 3rd of May and 7th of May.
The image is from Saturated Canary, and is called Liliana. To match the papers I have coloured her in blue and pink colours. And as usual I have painted her with Distress Ink re-inkers and Distress Markers.
I would also like to enter the Saturated Canary Challenge #41 with my card,
the challenge theme is "Anything goes".
The whole card is made with a GoKreate die. I love the shape! The beautiful large pink flower is from Petaloo, and the white ones are from Kort & Godt. The 15 mm roses are from WOC.
I have used some DooHickey's dies from Magnolia for the swirl and heart-tag (So Wrapped Lovely). The frame with the image is made with a Oval Petite Large die from Spellbinders.
The paper edges are inked with Distress Ink pad-Walnut Stain, and sewed with my sewing machine.
I am hosting the Maja Design blog today, so please give it a visit!!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog.
And thank you for the comments you take your time to write to me.
You make my day!

A Magnolia card - Sitting Tilda with Butterfly

Hi there! Here comes a new card from me.
It is with cute Sitting Tilda with Butterfly from the latest collection Once Upon a Time 2013.
♥♥♥
I went to a crop last weekend, called Strilascrappen, with my friends Audhild, Bente and Janne
A great place to meet fellow crafters and to chat and have fun:) And as you can imagine, I didn't manage to colour much.
In two days, I coloured this image and one more..
I also got to say hello to sweet, wonderful Jill, my DT friend in Magnolia, which was actually one of the reason I went:)
She was busy with her popular Copic classes and working in the shop Kreativ Scrapping,
but still took the time to say hello. (And I got a bit "star-strucked"!!) I also got to meet her lovely friend Trine K, another super talented crafter!! They made my day!:)
And they had both many of their stunning cards with them for us to study, wow!!
There were two shops present at the crop, and I got to shop some new things.
Like the new border punch from Martha Stewart which I have used here.
And also the frame I have used behind Tilda.
I found them in the shop called Interiørgleder, which also was present at the crop.
They had some lovely things for the house, and I couldn't go home without an antique birdcage too... :)
But back to the card, Tilda is coloured with Distress Ink, and Markers. The round poststamp is from Magnolia, and the other one is from Kort & Godt.
The papers are from Maja Design and the beautiful Vintage Spring Basic Collection.
The flowers are from Petaloo, I am Roses, Kort & Godt and WOC. Flower berries from Magnolia.

(You can also see this card in my Magnolia blog)
Thank you so much for visiting my blog,
and for the lovely comments you take the time to write to me ♥
I wish you a great evening!

MDUC #192 - Masking ♥

It is time for a new challenge at MDUC
And this time our theme is MASKING.
I look so much forward to see all the scenes you create the next coming week!
My scene is with Tilda Longstocking. She is really lovely. And Pippi has been in my life forever, so I just had to try to get Tilda look more like her. Therefor the red hair, and the two different stockings;)
I think she is on her way to Tommy and Annika.
I have used Distress Ink, re-inkers and Markers for colouring.
The lovely papers I have used are from Maja Design and the Vintage Spring Basic collection.
You can also see this card in my Magnolia blog
So now it is just to head over to MDUC to have a look at all the beautiful creations made by my wonderful teammates!!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog,
and for the lovely comments you take the time to write me:)

DT Maja Design ~ Cool & Sweet ♥

Hi there Maja fans!:) Isn't the new collection just wonderful!! I have to admit I have bought some extras from Hjerteboden just to know I have enough of my favorite papers!
Today is also my day to host the Maja Design blog.
And on my card I have used the Vintage Spring Collection:
The image is from Saturated Canary, and she is called Pitcher.
I have coloured her up with Distress Ink, re-inkers and Markers.
I have added some of my favourite embellishments like the painted metal corners, and a doily (almost hidden behind the beautiful papers).
The seem binding ribbon is coloured with a home made mist, where I have mixed the Distress ink, re-inkers: Tattered Rose and Victorian Velvet (with water). Sprayed it on the ribbon, curled it up, and then let it dry.
Behind the image I have also cut out some tickets and a So Wrapped Lovely tag from Magnolia's DooHickey's dies.
The post stamp on the side of the image is from Kort & Godt.
I have made the card with a Go Kreate die.
All the papers are inked with Distress Ink pad-Walnut Stain.
If you look very closely on the image you can see that I have added Crackle Accents on her eyes.
The beautiful big purple flower is from Petaloo.
Hope you enjoyed my card for today!
Thank you so much for visiting my blog,
and for for the sweet comments you take your time to leave in here.

Maja Design ~ Mood board April ♥

Here is a book card I have made for the Mood Board in April at Maja Design.
You can see the inspiring board at the end of this posting.
I have used the lovely Vintage Spring Basic papers, and also been inspired by the colours and words on the mood board.
The sweet image is called Honey from Saturated Canary.
She is coloured with Distress Ink, re-inkers and Markers.

Under you see the inside of the book.
The sentiments are from Stempelglede, Til konfirmanten.
And here's the front and the back, where I have used the papers called 7th of May.
♥♥♥
Now I want to show you what I have done with the butterflies that I have decorated the book with.
Firstly I have cut out butterflies from the paper 6th of May, as you can see under.
Here is one of them cut out:
Then I have used Stickles-Star Dust and Crackle Accents.
First I have added Stickles on the edges:
Then Crackle Accents on the rest of the butterfly.
Here is a closeup:
Here are all six.

Under you can see them finished dried up. The picture doesn't show the glitter effect that good, but you can spot the crackles on the wings.

♥♥♥
Here is the beautiful Mood Board to follow:

Hjertebodens utfordring #4 {April} ♥ konfirmasjon ♥

Heisann!
