MDUC #190 ~ Sketch

Hi there! I am back with my card for MDUC, where we have a wonderful sketch for you to follow.

I hope you are having a lovely and relaxing Easter:)

This year I started with a trip up to the mountains, and then back home again to have some days at home too.

But the days go so fast!!

Anyway I have managed to make some cards, and it is wonderful to have some time just to make cards:)

My cousin is celebrating her birthday 1st of April, and this is the card I made for her some days ago.

I have used Secretive Tilda from the Bon Voyage Collection 2010. 

She is coloured with Distress Ink-reinker and Markers.

The beautiful papers I have used are from Maja Design's latest collection

Vintage Spring Basic, and the ones dated May. 

Also the butterflies are cut out from the Maja paper.

DT Maja Design-Vintage Spring Basics ♥

 Hi all Maja fans, today it is my turn to host the lovely Maja Design Blog! 

Finally the new Vintage Spring Basic papers are out in the stores, and we can all see and feel the amazing papers! I got them in my mail the other day, and I love them all! Beautiful colours and patterns, and the quality is so good.  

You can buy them in my husbands web shop, Hjerteboden, too:) 

I have made this card for a Confirmand, and in blue/purple colours. I was so inspired by the butterfly pattern from the new papers, that I also added some butterflies on the card's left side. The image is from Saturated Canary, and I have coloured her with Distress Inks, and Distress Markers.

Now it is Easter break for me, and I am heading up in the mountains on a cabin with my husband and parents in law. My plans are to colour some more images, get some tan and read a good crime novel. Wish you all a wonderful Easter!

If I had a rose... ♥

I am back with a new card with the beautiful Fika Collection. 

It is my turn to host the Maja Design Blog today, and you can also see this post in the

Maja Design Blog.

The name of the papers are: Kladdkaka, Sockerkaka and Två Frøknar. 

For the green swirl I have used the paper Kitchen Garden from the Life in the Country Collection. 

 All the paper edges are inked with Distress Ink pad- Walnut Stain, and sewed with sewing machine.  

The image is a Saturated Canary stamp called Gardner Gayle. 

I have coloured her up with Distress Ink - re-inker and Markers. 

The main coloures are a mix with Victorian Velvet and Dusty Concord (the purple colour) 

and for the greenish colour I have used Frayed Burlap. 

As you might see I have also added a lot of spots on the image and around her. 

These are made with Liquid Pearls-Bisque.  

I have added the Liquid Pearls on the Scallop Ovals that frames the image and the text. 

And also on the Dragonflise (DooHickey's from Magnolia).  

Over is a closer look at the Dragonflies. I have cut them out two times from the gorgeous Maja Design papers. Then they get two sets of wings. I have used the paper called Sockerkaka for the first layer, and Två Frøknar for the upper layer. 

 The lovely sentiment is a stamp from Stempelglede (Just a Note Collection). Around the image I have stamped with another stamp from Stempelglede called the Vintage Garden Collection. 

 The largest roses are from I am Roses. Swirl and flowerberries are from Magnolia, and the buds and smaller roses are from Wild Orchid crafts. 

 I was inspired by the March Mood board for my card. I just adore the Fika collection, and the warm and cozy colours in it.

MDUC #187: Happy Birthday ♥

Hi there!

Here I am with my Birthday card to 

Magnolia Down Under Challenges!

We are celebrating our 4th birthday this week,

and I am so proud and happy to be on this theme with the most wonderful ladies:)

I have coloured up the sweetest Tilda with Little Pocket (With Love Collection 2013) with Distress - re-inkers and Distress Markers. For Tilda's yellow jumpsuit I have used Markers-Scattered Straw, and then added some Frayed Burlap for the shadowing. As an ending I have coloured the darkest spots with Reinkers-Black Soot.

I stamp with Archival Ink-Jet Black on Langton -Extra Smooth (Hot Pressed) Grain Satiné paper.

The frame around the image is made with a spellbinder die called Floral Ovals.

The papers are from Maja Design and the Vintage Summer Basic Collection-1915 and 1891. 

I have also used some of the new Doo Hickeys that arrived Hjerteboden some days ago. 

Up in the left corner - Cute Corners, and the two tabs - Peaky Floral Tabs.

I have also used an old favorite, Lovely Fence.

The largest flower, the Daisy, is from Iamroses.com. It is an online flowershop in Thailand that holds the most beautiful flowers.

 It was really easy to order from Iamroses, and I could pay through paypal. 

I ordered my flowers the one week, and got them all the way to Norway the next week! And they were just so beautiful.

The drawer I have put my flowers in is from Living.

MDUC #186 Especially For You ♥

Hi there! I am back with my card for MDUC. 

This week the theme is "Especially for you". So you have to make a nice card especially for someone:) 

I think this image "Tilda with Slingshot" is pretty cool and so cute too! You can find her in the "With love Collection 2013".

She was really fun to colour. And for her clothes I have mostly used the Markers.

T-shirt: Victorian Velvet (+Black Soot-Reink for the dark places)

Skirt: Weatherd Wood, Fryed Burlap (+Black Soot-Reink for the dark places)

I have coloured her skin and hair as usual with Distress Re-inker:

Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose

Hair: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain.

Shoes: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain, Black Soot.

The spots around the image is made with Liquid Pearls-Lavender.

To make the card extra special I have used this beautiful text from Stempelglede on the tag.

The text is stamped with Memento Ink-Rich Cocoa. 

To make the butterfly I have used another DooHickey tag from Magnolia called Swirly Butterfly. It is cut out twice, and I have glued them together on the middle. Then it has two sets of wings.

On top of the card I have put in a So Wrapped Lovely tag.

The whole card is made with a Go Kreate die. I have described how I put a card like this together HERE.

The gorgeous papers are from Maja Design. 

I have matched up two papers from the Fika Collektion. 

The big flowers is a Daisy from WOC, and you can find it in Hjerteboden.

I have also used Flower Berries, rose buds, swirly flowers, and 15mm open roses.
And a doily and cheese cloth behind the image.

The lace and "heart bling" are gift from a special friend in the UK:)

Hjerteboden's Utfordring #3 - GUL,ROSA & GRØNN

Heisann! Da er det allerede tid for en ny utfordring hos Hjerteboden!
I mars måned vil vi gjerne se fargene gul, rosa og grønn på bidraget ditt.
Det er vår og fargene begynner å komme:) Det er så herlig med fuglekvitter og den rene gode vårluften. 

Til utfordringen har jeg fargelagt skjønne Summer fra Saturated Canary.

Hun er fargelagt med Distress Markers og Re-inkers.

Hår: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain

Hud: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose

Kjole og sko: Scattered Straw+Black Soot og Fryed Burlap til skyggeleggingen.

 I håret hennes har jeg plassert noen prikker med Liquid Pearls-Bisque.

Mønsterarket er fra Maja Design. Jeg har brukt begge sidene av mønsterarket.

Her er også mini lommen jeg har brukt til å ha tag'er oppi.

Teksten på tagene er stemplet med Stempelglede stempler - Just a little note.

På ene tagen har jeg festet en søt jordbær charm.
