DT Maja Design ~ Baby card ♥

It is Sunday and my turn to host the Maja Design blog!
This time I have used the beautiful Maja Design paper from The wonderful collection Life by the Sea.
It is called Morning Swim, and I have used both sides.

I have made a baby card for a friend of mine who gave birth to a beautiful baby boy just before Christmas. She lives in another part of Norway, but will be home for Winter holiday this week, and I am looking so much forward to meet her and her baby! And of course I had to have a card for him:) 

I have used flowers from Prima, Wild Orchid Crafts and Ruffle Roses (the beautiful large blue one)  from Petaloo. The flowerberries are from Kort og Godt. 

Behind the cute image from Magnolia I have put some cheese cloth and a doily.

I have cut out two Tilda Tags from Magnolia's DooHickeys and put them in a small pocket. I have used this pocket on several cards now, and I think it is very decorative and great to put tags in!:) You can get it in Hjerteboden.

The image is coloured with Distress Ink, markers and re-inkers.

The whole card is made with a Go Kreate Die.

MDUC #184 ~ I Can See Clearly Now... Use Acetate

Hi there! I am back with another cutie from the amazing With Love Collection by Pauline and Magnolia. 

And this time I have tried out ACETATE! It is really the first time I have tried it for a card, and I wasn't quite sure what to do...

I got some acetate from my friend Bente, so I had no excuse not to try this challenge:)

It is our new challenge at MDUC, to use acetate.

As you might have noticed, I have fallen in love again with the blue and purple colors:) 

Tilda's clothes are colored with Distress Markers-Victorian Velvet. The color is pinkish in the reinkers, but in my Marker it tones to this lovely purple color. I have made the dark shadows on her clothes with Distress Ink-reinkers and Black Soot, and some Pumice Stone (Markers).

Btw, the image is called Tilda with Heart Arrows, and it is masked together with Flower Cloud.

For my card I have folded the Acetate, and then placed the Kraft Cardstock on top of it. 

The card stock is fastened with Fab Scraps adhesive tape. It is clear and fastens very well.

The size of the card stock is 11x15 cm, and the Acetate is 11x17 cm.

I have used a spellbinder dies to make the opening. Behind the image you can barely see that I have put in a paper to write a greeting on.

I have also stamped the "Made with love"-text from Magnolia inside the paper.

The pattern paper is from Magnolia's latest Little Easter Collection 2013.

Cute and whimsical swirly butterflies from Magnolia:) 

I have cut them out two times and glued them on each other. 

Under them I have put some cheese cloth. 

The purple/pink one is colored with my homemade mist.

The spots are made with Liquid Pearls-Bisque.

Flowers are from Prima and Magnolia. 

The feather is from Panduro.

DT Maja Design ~ Morsdags kort ♥

Heisann! Og gratulerer med dagen til alle mødre i dag!:)) 

Her kommer morsdagskortet som jeg har laget til min mamma. Jeg har brukt papirer fra Maja Design.

Papirene er fra Ska vi ta en Fika, og heter Bulle m Blåbær (med hjertene) og Två Frøknar.

Og så dette nydelige motivet fra Magnolia og With Love kolleksjonen som heter Tilda with Love.

Motivet er på tilbud hos Hjerteboden nå, sammen med flere Valentine tilbud. Det er også fri frakt for ordre over 350,- i dag (Morsdagstilbud!:))

Motivet er fargelagt med Distress Ink-refiller og Distress Markers. 

Jeg har også brukt Stickles-Star Dust Liquid Pearls-Bisque og Crackle Accents på motivet.

Poststempelet er fra Kort & Godt og stempelet på ene tagen er fra Stempelglede.

Jeg fikk flere kjempekoselige gaver til bursdagen min på fredag, med scrappesaker!!:)

Og flere av dem har jeg brukt her på kortet. Som metallhjertet og perlebåndet rundt motivet

Og også den lille konvolutten under, som jeg har puttet to tags i.

Jeg har også farget osteklut med egenlaget mist, og festet det bak motivet.

DT Magnolia - Tilda with Mr Rooster

Here is my newest card with a stamp from Magnolia and the Little Easter Collection 2013. 

Tilda with Mr Rooster.

The paper I have used is from Maja Design, and it is from the Vintage Summer Basics collection called 1915.

The Easter-letters are cut outs from the Maja Design-Walking in the Forest - Die Cut Letters.

Gorgeous Tilda with Mr Rooster is colored with Distress Ink reinkers. 

For Mr Rooster I have used a lot of colors, like: Vintage Photo, Tea Dye, Aged Mahogany, Black Soot, Fryed Burlap, Shabby Shutters, Weathered Wood.

Tilda's dress is colored with Tattered Rose, and I have used Victorian Velvet and Black Soot for the shadows. I have also added Stickles- Star Dust to the image.

The metal corner is painted with White Gesso and Crackle Paint-Picket Fence. 

The feathers are from Panduro. And I have also put a journaling ticket behind the image.

I have painted with Crackle Paint-Rock Candy on the letters.

Behind the image I have also put some cheese cloth which I have colored with a homemade mist (Opalite+Vintage Photo+Water)

DooBeePops from Magnolia for Mother's Day ♥

Hi there!

Next weekend it is Mother's Day here in Norway. And I have made a card for that occations when trying out the new DooBeePops papers from Magnolia.

This one is the Old Rose.

I have cut out the dress with Tim Holtz's die called Sewing Room. 

The dress is inked with Distress Ink-Walnut Stain and painted with White Gesso. I have also added some spots with Liquid Pearls-Bisque.

The paper behind the dress is also from Magnolia, and the "With Love" Collection, it is called Cherub Champagne.

I have added some strokes with White Gesso on the paper, and also put on some laces, metal corners and a piece of Cheese Cloth. Around the waist I have tied a seem binding ribbon and fasten a small rose.

MDUC #182 ~ Love is in the air ♥

It is time for another challenge at MDUC. And this time the theme is 

LOVE IS IN THE AIR.

I thought this Love-balloon fitted well:) 

And who knows, maybe it will take Tilda with on a trip up in the air;)

I really love the "With Love Collection" from Magnolia. The whole collection is filled with romantic beautiful stamps:)) 

And this cutie is called Up, up and away.

The gorgeous papers are also from the same Magnolia collection. Even the post cards are cut outs from the papers.

I have added Crackle Accents to the balloon.

The image is colored with Distress Ink-reinkers, and here are the colors that I have used.

Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose (Cheeks: A mix with Aged Mahogany and Tattered Rose)

Hair: Antique Linen, Walnut Stain

Top: Victorian Velvet (Distress Markers) and Black Soot

Trousers: Weathered Wood, Black Soot

Shadows around Tilda: Weathered Wood, Antique Linen (Both with Distress Markers)

Utfordring #2 hos Hjerteboden ~ Vinter &snø ♥

Ny måned og vi er klare for en ny utfordring hos HJERTEBODEN!!

Jeg har dekorert denne gaveposen med nydelige papirer fra Maja Design og søte Edwin på ski.

Han heter Ski Edwin with Snowflakes og er ifra Magnolia's A Christmas Story Collection 2012.

Jeg har stempelt motivet med Archival Ink- Jet Black på Langton papir. 

Fargelegging - Distress Ink-reinkers:

Hud: Vintage photo, tattered rose (Kinn: Aged Mahogany, tattered rose)

Hår: Antique linen, walnut stain

Skidress: Weathered wood, black soot.

Ski+sko: Black soot

Snøfnuggene er laget som jeg har vist i inspirasjonsbidraget mitt hos Hjerteboden.

Tagen er en Vintage Tag fra Magnolia.

De lekre papirene er fra Maja Design og Vintage Winter kolleksjonen.

Jeg har også stemplet på mønsterark og rundt motivet med de stilige poststemplene fra Magnolia.

Bak motivet har jeg festet osteklut, 

og gjerdet er stanset ut med DooHickey diesen Lovely fence.
