MDUC #98 ~ Sketch by Kylie

It is time for a new and fun challenge at MDUC! 

Dear Kylie has made a lovely Sketch for you to work with:) And over you can see my take on it!

I have masked together three stamps from the Bon Voyage Collection 2010-Magnolia. It is the Sea Background, Pelican and Dangling Sea Tilda.

The little scene is coloured with Distress Ink, reinkers. And I have also added Stickles-Star Dust, Crackle Accent and Liquid Pearls-White.

The text and the "Carte Postale" stamp is from Stempelglede.

And do you see the BEAUTIFUL papers?!! They are from the new collection from Maja Design, called Skärgårdsliv. Here I have used: Optimistjolle (with the stars), En dag till sjøss, and Morgondopp.

My last Christmas card for May ♥

My last card became a blue one:) I haven't used typical Christmas papers, but who could know? 

They are from Pion Design.

 Tilda in Winter Night from Magnolia's Christmas Collection 2010, is coloured with Distress Ink, reinkers. 

For the blue colour I have used: Weathered Wood, Faded Jeans and Black Soot.

 Tilda with fir is from Magnolia's Christmas Collection 2010.

She is colored with Distress Ink, reinkers.

I have used my new alphabet from Tim Holtz, called Typeset.

 Both swirl, tag and fence are made from Doo Hickey dies from Magnolia.

The papers are also from Magnolia. Inked and sewed:)

MDUC #97 ~ Christmas in May

This week's challenge at MDUC is just perfect for me! I have set as a goal to make at least three Christmas cards every month in 2011, so there will be no panic in December:)

I am useing Hjertebodens Juleblog to reach my goal.

For this card I have coloured Tilda with Amaryllis from Magnolia's Christmas Collection 2010.

And as usual I use Distress Ink, reinkers.

On the flowers I have put some Crackle Accents, and you can also see some Stickles-Star Dust on Tilda's dress.

All the papers are from Maja Design, and the Fika collection.

I soo love the sailing-inspired papers!

Behind Tilda I have put some corrugated paper, a heart doily, and cheese cloth.

I have put some Crackle Paint-Picket Fence on the cheese cloth and around the cute image. The ticket is also a stamp from Magnolia.

The papers are inked with Distress Ink-Walnut Stain and sewed with my sewing machine.

It is Dragonfly Tilda from Magnolia's Chasing Butterflies Collection 2009.

Romantic Tilda ♥

Her kommer et konfirmasjonskort til:) Og med Romantic Tilda fra Magnolia sin Wedding Collection 2010.

Hun er fargelagt med Distress Ink, reinkers.

 Papirene er fra Pion Design.

 Og et shakerkort igjen!:) Med en gelantinplate og glitter inni. 

Jeg har nå begynt å bruke en lim som heter Tacky Glue i stede for limpistol. Og det gikk fint til å feste gelantinplaten også. 

 På scallopen har jeg påført små prikker med Liquid Pearls-white. Blomstene og sommerfuglen har fått Stickles-Star Dust på seg.

"Til Konfirmanten" er et stempel fra Stempelglede.

Tøff og kul :)

Her kommer et konfirmasjonskort jeg fikk bestilling på i forrige uke. Cool Oakley fra Whiff of Joy passer godt til konfirmasjonskortene. Her har jeg også stemplet på noen stempler fra Stempelglede. 

 Cool Oakley er fargelagt med Distress Ink, mye i fargen Walnut Stain.

 Papirene er fra flere ulike produsenter. Bl.a Muslin fra Basic Grey. Jeg har funnet meg et lite system for maskuline papirer. Dvs. at når jeg oppdager noen som passer bra til guttekort, så legger jeg dem i en skuff. Så da slipper jeg å lete igjennom hele samlingen papirer for å finne noe som passer, når jeg altså skal lage et maskulint kort:)

Jeg kjøpte meg et skuffesystem fra Ikea, som heter Alex. Og der er det altså en skuff merket med "Maskuline papirer":)

Her er også endel Tim Holtz produkter på kortet: Filmstrip Ribbon, Philosophy Tags, Journaling Tickets, Hitch Fasteners, og Hinge Clips.

 Papirene er svertet med Distress Ink pute-Walnut Stain, og sydd med symaskin.

MDUC #96 ~ My favourite things ♥

My favourite things... where do I start??!

Ok, first: Magnolia, I have several favourites, and it also changes too:) But I really love this one:) 

Hello Little Butterfly

Another favourite, this heart charm:) Luckily my husband has many more in his shop;) Here are also roses, and my favourites are in creme and ivory. Another favourite: leaves from a Magnolia die (DooHickey) and the heartborder die. So cute!

Do you think I have a thing for butterflies?:)

My favourite papers are from: MAJA DESIGN ♥

And I love flowers from Prima, espesically the white ones here.

This text is probably the one I uses the most, it is from Magnolia too:)

Can you see the Stickles-Star Dust?! One big favourite!

I love to use tags, and with my favourite sentiments from Stempelglede.

Some more details:) You can see that sewing is a favorite too. And also to ink the edges with Walnut Stain. Have I forgotten the flowerberries from Magnolia, in the colour creme ♥ A big favourite!

Making a book like this is fun, but also timeconsuming. I am very happy when finished:) After I got my Scor Pal the work was much easier, just a tip;)

A wedding card ♥

Blogger is working again! And I am back with a new post:) But I have to warn you, there will be many photos... 

Once again an image from Magnolia, this lovely wedding couple from the Wedding Collection 2010.

I have coloured the image with Distress Ink, reinkers.

The papers and butterflies are from Pion Design.

The flowers are from WOC, bought in Hjerteboden. The swirl, leaves, and heart border are made with DooHickey dies from Magnolia.

I have put some Stickles-Star Dust on Tilda's dress. And Crackel Accents on Tilda's flowers.
