WoJ: Project of the month ~ Easter Gift

Here is my POM for Whiff of Joy, and how I worked with it!

First I wanted to put Kneeling Willow beside the Tree Stump. And I wanted the bird from the spring kit on the tree stump. And I also wanted to add the cute little butterfly.

Under you can see that I first stamped these two images, then masked them, and then stamped the tree stump.

Here you see all the parts I will put together. I have cut the paperbag so it is about 17 cm high. The papers are all from My Mind's Eye, Bella Bella. Some really gorgeous papers!

Here is the giftbag finished! All the papers have inked edges, and are put together. I had too much Easter-goodies, so I had to leave some of the chocolate figures outside:)

A closeup of the whole Easter scene. I have coloured it with Distress Ink.

The back, with my personal stamp. I have it on 3D pillows so it stands out from the paper. A nice effect.

A Spoon Full of Sugar # 44 Lim's Sketch

This week my friend Lim has made a wonderful sketch for A Spoon Full of Sugar. And for this card I have used some of the new stamps from the Spring Kit. The papers are from My Mind's Eye, Bella Bella. And I have coloured with Distress Ink. I know hAnglar is Lim's favourite stamps, so hope she likes my card:)
I have masked two images together. First I stamped the girl with the little trolley. Then I stamped her again on thin paper, cut her out, and covered the stamped image. I then stamped the girl with the birdhouse close to her.

Mens jeg venter på de nye bryllupstemplene..:) Et enkelt mappekort.

Jeg har laget en mappe til å ha rundt et gavekort. Det var på tampen til bryllupet, så jeg rakk ikke å ta så mange bilder av det. Men det er ganske enkelt laget.

Jeg målte opp kartong og mønsterark etter størrelsen på gavekortet. Mønsterarket er fra Kimberly Poloson. Og jeg har brukt punchen fra Martha Stewart til åpningen.

Jeg har brukt stempler fra Stempelglede: Grunge Collection, og teksten "Hjertelig til lykke". På blomsten har jeg sprayet Glimmer Mist, Coffee Shop, ytterst på bladene.

The image is coloured with Distress Ink, and I have inked and sewed all the edges again.I have used different papers, from Melissa Frances, Maja Design and Kaiser Craft. Under you can have a better view of the embelishments:)

WoJ releases today!!

There are so many beautiful new stamps coming from Whiff of Joy this spring. I think this one is one of my favourites:) It is Melinda with bouquet.

Yes it is another confirmand card! The text is written on my PC.
She is coloured with Distress Ink. And under you can see when I open the hatch. Can you see that I have tried to colour her hair ribbon and belt in the same colours as the background paper?:)

WoJ Sneak Peek #3!

Now it is only hours untill you can order the new Whiff of Joy stamps!!
I have made a new confirmand card, and look at the cute kitty:)

She is coloured with Distress Ink. And I have done a lot of sewing. The papers are from KaiserCraft and Maja Design. The text is from Stempelglede.

As you may see, I have put one smaller card (7,5x15 cm) inside the card. On the card I have cut of the upper half.

StampARTic: Recipe/colour ~ Påskekort!

Denne gangen skal du lage et påskekort, med fargene gul, orange og grønn på.

(Det trenger ikke å være et kort...)

Utfordringen kommer fra StampARTic's gjest Lene.

Jeg har ikke så mange påskestempel, men syntes dette fra Sugar Nellie passet bra.

Motivet er fargelagt med Distress. Fjær fra Panduro, det tror jeg også de svarte trekulene er. Mønsterark er fra Maja Design.

Here I have done some masking. The cute guardian angel on the bench. Both from Whiff of Joy. And I have used some of DT-Sonja's swirls.
I have coloured with Distress Ink. The text is also from Whiff of Joy. I have distressed the white roses with vintage photo, and added some glitterglue. All the new releases are coming the 22. March.

A Spoon Full of Sugar # 43~ A little Gem

It is time for a new A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge again! And this week I had the pleasure to choose a GD:) And the very talented Lena Katrine said yes!! Go and take a look at her lovely card! But I have made a card as well, here it is:

I have used this cute hAnglar couple, and some stamps from Stempelglede, Grunge Collection. Under you can see the inside of the card.
The card is for a couple who are celebrating 35 years of marriage. Therefor the tag:)

WoJ Sneak Peek!

Finally I have started making my Confirmation cards!! Last spring I got a lot of questions to make Confirmation cards, so this time I want to start early:)

And my luck that Whiff of Joy are coming with some gorgeous images for this type of cards!! And there is a boy too!!;) I will make a card with him too soon. But here is the lovely angel girl:

She is coloured with Distress Ink, refillers. And I have used a lot of glitter here too. The papers are from Kaiser Craft.
I just had to have a Norwegian text, so I made it myself on my computer. The font is called Vivaldi.

StampARTic: North Star Stamps

Vi i StampARTic har vært så heldige å kunne lage en artikkel for North Star Stamps. Vi fikk tekster og fotostempler. Og vi har selv vært med på oversette tekster til finsk, svensk og dansk!

På dette kortet er både fotostempel og tekster fra North Star Stamps.

Fotostempelet er stemplet med Distress Ink, walnut stain.
Jeg har også laget et bursdagskort med en av tekstene fra North Star Stamps.
Du husker kanskje motivet fra da jeg malte det:) Her har jeg også påført glitter, glimmer mist og hvit penn.
Jeg har også stemplet med stempler fra Stempelglede sin Grunge Collection.

StampARTic: Technique/theme challenge for March

And can you see what the challenge is?? Use 10 stamps on your card!!

I got this cute Magnolia, and wanted to use her on the card back, to say thank you!:) Among the nine other stamps on the front. This was a really fun challenge. Under you can see that I made the flowers out of two flowerstamps from Stempelglede. I have also used two flowerstamps from the Grunge collection (Stampelglede) on the backgroundpaper I made. "From the heart" is from WoJ.
I have used the border stamp from Stempelglede too, on the edges of the DP. The sentiment is also from Stempelglede, as well as the big background stamp (I used clear embossing).

Some more flowers:) Love to mix the colours blue and brown. And I know it is my friend's favourite colours;)

Here is the inside of the card. I am so proud to have that tiny Magnolia stamp, isn't she cute?! And I just love to use my heart border punch from Fiskars. The paper is the same as on the front, from Basic Gray, Scarletts Letter. It is so beautiful. I am not sure where the dotted paper is from... And I have been sewing:)
